The open insert heats your room, from 25 to 70 m², up to four times more effectively.

Our open inserts are custom-built, from 40 cm to 1.60 m wide, to fit your fireplace perfectly.
The open insert, our original creation
To put an end to the compromise between performance on one side and the charm of an open fire on the other, we created the open insert. Placed directly inside an open-hearth fireplace, it reburns the smoke during wood combustion. Thanks to this double combustion, pollutants are eliminated, the burn is improved, and heat is distributed far more effectively.
The open insert is custom-made to fit every type of fireplace and home: Haussmann-style apartments, houses, châteaux, farmhouses, traditional cantous… A range of accessories is also available to complete the installation.
The bricks used in Finoptim fireplaces equipped with open inserts come in four finishes: Flamed, White, Brick, and Anthracite.

Because every fireplace is unique, our open insert is custom-built to match the exact dimensions of your existing hearth. This precision work ensures perfect integration, both technically and aesthetically. Choosing a made-to-measure insert involves a production lead time, allowing our team to craft your unit with the care it deserves.
The result: a discreet, elegant appliance, perfectly tailored to your home… and entirely made in France.
Delivery
We deliver your open insert directly to your home, anywhere in Europe, with the utmost care.
Our standard home delivery service ensures that your insert is transported safely and brought to the entrance of your house or building. A time slot is scheduled a few days in advance to guarantee a smooth and convenient delivery experience.
Each insert is carefully packaged, protected, and shipped on a pallet so it arrives in perfect condition, ready to be placed into your fireplace.
Installation
Installing the Finoptim open insert is remarkably simple: just slide it directly into the hearth of your fireplace. No connections, no fittings, no construction work required. In just a few minutes, your fireplace is transformed.
Depending on the model, it may be helpful to have two people lift the unit comfortably — its weight is a sign of its robustness.

Super , très satisfait ! On sent vraiment une grosse différence par rapport à mon ancien foyer ouvert classique (ferme briarde). Et c'est vrai que ce foyer s'allume par le haut - je n'y croyais pas trop...!!

Excellent fonctionnement de l’insert ouvert, très bon démarrage du feu sans fumée, excellente combustion et formation des braises. Seule déception une diffusion de la chaleur dans la pièce moins importante que celle que j’attendais, peut être lié à la taille du modèle qui est la plus petite et qui a du être réduite pour s’adapter à ma cheminée. Je reste néanmoins très satisfaite de mon achat, la consommation de bûche reste inférieure à une cheminée classique ouverte pour la même durée de fonctionnement.

l'insert permet un démarrage rapide du feu et le nettoyage est grandement facilité. La combustion est excellente avec de belles flammes. A chaleur équivalente, ma consomation de bois est divisée par deux. Note: précédement, je possédais une cheminée à récupérateur de chaleur avec un rendement double par rapport à une cheminée ouverte classique.

Très satisfait ! L'insert fonctionne bien, ça chauffe bien et on garde le plaisir d'avoir un feu ouvert sous les yeux. Les fumées sont réduites, surtout en allumant par le haut.
